They can be lists, tables, notes, and more - you’re always working with the latest information in your preferred app, like Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Whiteboard, and the Loop app. Components allow you to collaborate in the flow of work – on a Loop page or in a chat, email, meeting, or document. From pulling icons to the phone’s home screen to continuing working on, say a word file, from phone to a PC, this is truly a refreshing idea.Loop components are portable pieces of content that stay in sync across all the places they are shared. Microsoft introduced its “Continuum” with its Nokia 950 back in the day and they want to bring in something similar to this launcher – a concept that is alien to a launcher where certain supported files can be projected onto the PC from the phone via a launcher! And its called “Continue On PC” based on their famous “Fluent” design concept. While customization is one of the key features that most of them provide, they usually fail to provide some good utility. Standing out as a launcher isn’t easy – there are 100s of them. Instead of improving things on it, Microsoft has now rebranded it as Microsoft Launcher for Android and it’s out now as a beta preview for app freaks like who love to try things out. Some time back, Arrow Launcher came up there for Android and surprisingly it was a smart one. Microsoft has its Garage and you must visit it ( link). And many experiments are very interesting that spin off into full-fledged projects. If you are a part of the software churning industry, you’d be familiar with the term “POC” i.e Proof Of Concept when a new idea comes up or those experiments you try from time to time.
